Some more of the PPatch.

Sam did some dirty crawling. He mixed the peanut butter on his hands from lunch with some dirt and grass. Yum. The ride back was a good chance for some babies to nap a bit.

Pumpkin Patch Time!

We got some more use out of the backpacks... We ate some lunch.
We did some walking. (Yes, Leah is by choice putting her booty on the web.)
And we smelled some flowers. Posted by Picasa

Some Weekend Pics.

Eric had Friday off, so we had a long weekend around here. Leah's mom and dad came to visit for the weekend. The kids learned how to 'help' in the kitchen this last week.
They also learned to walk, and are finally walking room to room. Maggie can even walk and drink at the same time.
It was really fun to have Grandpa here visiting too this time. Sam was calling him 'Bampa' by the end of the weekend.

Messy Baby Pics.

Mmmm....I gotta get me some of that. No worries, Dad didn't let Sam actually get the dirty little pointer in there.
Sweet...but messsy.

It's the Maggie Show!

It seemed to be the Maggie show for pics this week....
Here's a cutie playing her "I'm-under-the-table" game.
And a cutie as Babuska (sp?). She thinks the hand towels in the kitchen are shawls. Sam managed to find his way in one finally!
Maggie and her dancing partner. She has loved getting lessons this week (it's fall- so Jazz has found it's way back into our CD player lately).

Quotable Quotes? Maybe not...

The following could be overheard during the bedtime procedures at our home this evening:

Eric (in bedroom with kids): OOHH SAM! Ugh, Nasty!....
Leah (in kitchen with bottles): What is it- do you need help?
Eric: no, it's just the bare butt farts...there's no filter, ya know?

(several minutes later)
Eric:Maggie stop!...that's his nipple- you can't touch it!

Climb every mountain...

Sam figured out how to get on his tractor all by himself....the only problem is he ends up backwards half the time. He also discovered that he can climb. This was taken right before he could be seen standing on top of the bag of blocks and holding onto the bookshelf. Yikes.
He also tries to climb onto his piano, the ark, the car garage, and his tractor. I actually found him standing on the seat of the tractor yesterday, holding onto the kitchen chair. Injuries of all sorts are not far away for this boy. Here he is getting brave and deciding to walk to Mom.
Ooh, walking is scary stuff!

The Doctor is in.

It's been a long week for Maggie (and Mom)....and it's only Tuesday. We have been busy passing a cold around our house and some of us our dealing with it better than others are. Maggie needed some kick back time with Dad Saturday morning. After lunch today we watched a sing-along video. Ususally the kids only sit and watch 10 minutes of it or so. Today, we hit a new record: 20 minutes without either baby even blinking I think. We must be a tired crew!
Tell Dr. Maggie where it hurts. She can fix it.
After a long day the Dr. wants to go home. Taking care of a sick mommy is hard work.
