Summer fun

Eric and I were making dinner....apparently we left the laundry basket a little too close.

Dannen Time!

'Grandpa Earl' was a hit with the kids. Molly was a hit with Maggie (as were the Parker's cats....any bets on how long before we go get a pet of some kind?)
Nancy loved having babies in the house again...why did you stop her at 2 Earl?!! :-)

Visiting Friends in Spokane

We got to go see Bob and Jeannie- Jeannie didn't really enjoy herself too much....ya right!! We had a lot of fun visiting!
We stayed with the Parkers and REALLY enjoyed their company as well as their A/C! Sam and Sammy even have matching shoes!! Fun times in the Parker kitchen. The boys thought they were pretty funny to each other this morning.
 

At home

This was taken right before he bonked his head on the chair...he wasn't so happy after that. We got our second carrier and took the babies on their first trek...ok- it was only about 10 minutes from where we live. BUT, we did go for almost an hour up and down hill in the hot afternoon sun. They liked it a LOT. We will have to go several more times so that mom and dad are in shapre to carry them over vacation at the beach in a few weeks. (check out Mt Hood in the background!)

When Dad babysits....

When Dad babysits this is what you do. You swing. Okay, acutally you eat and THEN you swing. Maggie doesn't seem to mind too much though...!

Great Grandma and Grandpa Moffat stopped by for a visit...Sam thought Grandpa was pretty funny. Attack of the Maggie...........!


 

Hoop Time

Sam discovered how to use his hoop correctly today. It took some coaching and a lot of "1-2-3-yea Mommy!!!" but he figured out that the purpose of the toy is to make a basket and watch the light go.

Once you start, you can't stop!! He might need some work on his technique....any pointers Uncle Ry? :-)
 

Too cute!

We were calling Maggie "Flashdance" today in her tank and headband. And you can't put one kid on without the other, right?
 

Clean Garage???

There is nothing more interesting than a box you can't quite see into by yourself. "No, your shirt is way cooler than mine!"
Yes, we finally got the garage "cleaned" out. But, now the spare bedroom has some issues...

One more of Sam, the big walker boy (okay- he just THINKS that he is big) Uncle Dan brought Maggie a terribly cute Eeyore- she loves to cuddle up with it. (Sam has tigger- how fitting, eh?!)
 

More BBQ Fun

We (Eric, Leah, and Leah's brother Dan) drove to Molalla today (close to your old stompin' grounds, eh Andrew?!) and attended the Molalla Buckaroo BBQ competition. We had some great BBQ and came back very full- but very satisfied. Sam and Maggie enjoyed their first real BBQ too. Maggie thought her pacifier was pretty fun- until she discovered that there was BBQ sauce around, it didn't really satisfy her too much after that.
How young is too young for a cell phone?
Sam won't crawl- but loves to "walk"- he is taking all sort of steps all over the place. Looks like mama might have to finally baby-proof the house.
