Halloween Pics...Installment No. 3

Halloween Pics...Installment No. 2

This is Ellie. Ellie is a pirate (duh) and a little bit cold....but very protective of her candy. DON'T do her a favor and try to lighten the load. She does not appriciate the help. Her mom found that out the hard way.

This is Ruth, Ellie's older sister. Ruth is a princess. Leah asked Ruth to "strike a Princess pose." This is what we got.

Later in the evening (okay, it was only like 20 minutes later....but the wind was howling and COLD!) our Princess had handed the tiara off to her dad and donned her hood instead. She now has fully transformed into the Ice Princess at this point.

Here are the Moffat cousins hitting the Trick or Treat scene in Downtown Gresham. (L to R) Ashlynn, Kari, Maggie, Sam, and Joel. Lorelai was kickin' it in the Baby Bjorn with mom. In case you are wondering...she was a pumpkin.

Halloween Pics....Installment No. 1

Maggie was a little chick for Halloween...she even 'roar'ed or 'peep'ed on occation. (She didn't totally understand that she wasn't the one dressed as a lion.)

They enjoyed looking at themselves in the mirror.

...but every now and then a smile might slip out...
(we thought the lion mane looked a little Tina Turner-ish)

Sam was sitting on Dad and Maggie thought she should join in. The problem was that she chose to sit on Eric's throat and stick her fingers in his mouth. Needless to say, Dad didn't find it quite as amusing as Maggie did.

Sam is slowing working on his escape skills. Maggie is glad to be his accomplice.

So, Mom was too tired and put the wrong bibs on the kids the other evening. The best part is that she didn't even notice until Dad pointed it out. Oopsies.

Fun Outside

Maggie was a little concerned about the brightness of the sun that day.

We went to Laurelhurst Park in Portland and saw LOTS of doggies and LOTS of duckies. Ohhh, the babies were so excited. They don't know that you can actually feed the ducks yet...we'll save that for another day.

The kids have been pooped at the end of the morning and just lay and stare at their Einstein for 15 minutes...no moving for 15 minutes. It's an amazing sight.

First Official Park Visit

Oh my, did the kids LOVE the park this morning. They walked on terribly uneven ground, tasted some bark chips, went down the slide, rode the springing animal things, and cried when we left.
