T-Ball Time

Sam has been dreaming of playing baseball FOR.EVER.  Seriously....since he was 2 1/2 or so it's been his life goal to play on a baseball team.  The little league here offered free registration for first time players this year- so we said YES to baseball a few years before we had planned.  Here are some pictures (from my NEW camera!!  Happy early birthday to me...).  Sam is taking the game very seriously.  I know his Grandpa Viertell is going to love these pictures.

He spied me and gave me this weird wave...

Playing second base, where he actually got a lot of chances to field the ball today.  He is super quick to field that ball and get it off to first.  It's really fun to see his excitement every time.

I asked Sam what he thought of t-ball, he told me "It's my best-est game EVER, Mom."  Why? "Because when you're the last up to bat you always get a home run and get to run all the way around the bases!!"  That'll all change next year, but for now he's one happy t-baller.  Go Phillies!
