$8.

So we used two library passes and an entertainment coupon and got our family (that's 5 people) and Greg & Andrea and company (that's another 5 people) in the Children's Museum for a whopping $8 total. Nice. Here are some pics of our morning adventure (which, btw, started at IKEA for cheap duvets and some FREE breakfast for all):

Thank you!

Attention mysterious gift card giver:
Your generous gift was a welcome addition to the usual bills that fill the mailbox. Thank you for loving our family and caring for us in this super practical way. May you be blessed richly in return!
Love, The Moffats

Awwww.....cute!

Okay, so I see that many of our readers are scared to comment on Miles and his crooked eyes (fear of making the mommy cry or something??)...so here is a nice cute pic of the kiddo instead. Hey Gretchen, this is what a sleeping baby boy looks like. Aren't they cute?!

Wacky Wednesday!

Morning love, brother to brother...and Maggie's "night of the living dead" look.
Brothers in PJs.
This is the WORST I have ever seen his eyes track...and poor kid, I even caught in on camera. :-)
Don't worry, he has a referral in process for the pediatric ophthalmologist .

3 year olds...NOT for sale.

(My original title for the post didn't include the "NOT"...and it caused our blog to get flagged for inappropriate content. Now we know: don't try to sell your kids on blogger.) :-)

Okay, so here is a cute pic of Miles and daddy from earlier this week.

And here is the reason my 3 year olds are for sale: Every single feather off the dress-up boa was OFF the boa. This was a quarter of the mess that had been made....and this part had already been "picked up" by the 3 year olds. I wanted to cry and scream all at once. I used the picture taking opportunity to let my temper cool so I could deal with the insanely SLOW clean up effort taking place.
Okay, here is the baby again...this time kindof smiling. :-)
See?? This is one of the 3 year olds....! Isn't this a cute child?! How could this cute charming child participate in such devilish schemes as taking apart the entire boa!?!? How, I ask??? How?! (This is Daddy's FAVORITE picture of this particular 3 year old...btw).

Things that make you go "hhmm...."

Eric is currently playing "Material Girl" with the Handbells on Wii Music.

Magaret Grace. Total nutcase.

Maggie has embraced her silly side recently. She's generally just a nutty little thing right now. Here is Maggie when she does her own "make-up".
...and Maggie when we move beyond the tangled ponytail look. I actually sprayed her hair down and combed it all out this morning. Here is what I was left with when it dried:
I'm trying to come up with someway to leave her hair mostly down during the day....we'll try this one a few more times before decided to accept it reject it. btw- this is her "Smile pretty!" smile. oh dear.

Belated posting.

Okay, so the blog has hit the back burner lately. Sorry folks. Between snow days, a broken furnace, Christmas Day, a trip to Californai, recovering from the vacation (isn't it sad that you actually do have to RECOVER from a break), minor surgery for me (email if you are REALLY curious), and Eric finally getting back to work (his Christmas break ended up being A MONTH long....) - we are starting to see something that resembles normal life around our house again. :-)

So, here is a Christmas slideshow if you desire to watch it. I did actually put captions in this time, so it might be more entertaining. There is a serious lack of pictures from Christmas Day itself...I was totally wiped that day and we left the camera in the bedroom where Miles was sleeping - and of course that was when most of the picture taking opportunities happened. Anyway, here they are.
Enjoy!
