Miles is four year old now....and we learned tonight that he has never had a bandaid on his skin. We have to keep his nails short because otherwise he'll scratch his chin/neck area until it's raw. Tonight he was due for a trim....and I made it through 19 of his digits before he yanked his hand away on the last one and ripped off the edge of his nail...it was bleeding a lot. A bandaid was required. He freaked out at the sight of the blood (and the pain, I'm sure)...but that was nothing compared to what he did when we tried to put a bandaid on him. Poor kid, he had no idea what was happening to him. He did take a short break from his screaming and thrashing when we explained that it was a "sticker for your boo-boo". As you can see in this picture, Daddy was sporting a "boo-boo sticker" too for a while this evening.

Those are some pretty dark circles under those beautiful eyes-- Phew, 4 years old and no bandaid-- that is a record!

Record! Plus on the younger side of many cousins! Impressive. Russell's been sporting badaids lately but I am rather certain there has not been a legit wound under any of them! Must have gotten the badaid idea from his cousins :). He een likes the plain, tan, round ones! Goofy boy!
