It must be the weather- I've got an urge to bake. So I decided to make some cookies for the first time in MONTHS. I didn't have any chocolate chips, but I did have a bag of OLD York Peppermint Patties. So I chopped them up and threw them in the dough instead. I can't deny my kids a warm-strait-from-the-oven-cookie, so:
Sam took a bite of his cookie and said "Mom, this is the best cookie I ever had!"
Thanks Sam, you just made this Mama's day.
